This was Hans Hoffman's first forey into directing and the first Screen Test that would involve masking zones. Quite simply, I walked out one door, then I walked out the other door and we used a mask to glue the two shots together. If you look very closely you may see sections of the door and wall that suddenly become lighter or darker. We discovered the hard way that the video camera constantly readjusts its white balance and exposure settings unless it's set in "manual mode".
