Catching up
Sorry I haven't written anything for the past week. I
had a friend visit from New York. After I finish my taxes today I will turn back
to my writing.
My profound apologies for not writing much in the past
10 days. First I had the gig on The Practice, and then I had my friend Bob visit
from New York for a week. And as much as I'd been itching to add some journal
entries, it would be rude to do so while I had a
visitor.
I'll try and write more about my life tonight. Presently I have until about 5pm to finish my taxes. I'd gotten an extension to my extension because I was seeing if one of my old deadbeat client was ever going to pay me for about $9000 worth of work I'd done (seven months' worth!) and I needed to know whether to deduct it as bad debt or not. (And yes, they refuse to pay. Grrr.)
So the tax-preparation procrastination comes to an end. I've got to dig my paperwork from the four corners of my apartment and assemble a tax return. Afterwards I'll sit down this evening and do some writing.
